Programme Manager - Cybersecurity and Information Security

Programme Leadership and Delivery: Lead intricate, mission-critical programmes aimed at implementing strategic transformations for both the company and its clients. Supervise multiple interrelated projects and workstreams. Guarantee alignment with business goals, regulatory compliance, and risk management standards. Convert executive-level goals into actionable programme plans. Uphold delivery momentum across diverse teams and workstreams. This is a hands-on leadership position involving both programme delivery and coordination.


Cyber and Information Security: Prioritize the execution of Information Security and Cyber Security initiatives. Integrate security considerations throughout the programme lifecycle. Possess a comprehensive understanding of security frameworks, standards, industry best practices, and governance. Communicate effectively with security, technology, risk, compliance, and business teams. Articulate technical concepts into understandable business outcomes for non-technical stakeholders. Critically evaluate to ensure security requirements are met. Apply SOC standards and governance requirements across all programmes.


Governance Risk and Reporting: Oversee programme-level governance, risk, dependencies, budgets, and stakeholder communication. Deliver clear and transparent reports to senior stakeholders. Exhibit strong governance abilities across all programme activities. Apply Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery approaches as appropriate. Maintain vigilance on regulatory, operational resilience, and risk management expectations.


Stakeholder Management: Interact efficiently with senior leaders and executive stakeholders. Influence and challenge senior leaders when necessary. Establish confidence in programme delivery across the organization. Communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical audiences. Manage competing priorities and navigate high levels of ambiguity. Function effectively across global time zones and various cultures.


Methodologies: Utilize the most suitable delivery methodology — Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid. Leverage portfolio and delivery management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or Microsoft Project. Exhibit exceptional organizational, planning, and communication skills. Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken.


Requirements: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Programme Management, delivering large-scale programmes with multiple projects and workstreams. Proven track record of successfully executing complex change initiatives. Extensive experience in Information Security and/or Cyber Security programmes, with a deep understanding of current security standards, frameworks, and industry best practices. Ability to collaborate effectively with security, technology, risk, compliance, and business teams. Proven ability to manage programme-level governance, risks, dependencies, budgets, and stakeholder communications. Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing and challenging senior leaders and fostering confidence in programme delivery. Experience in fast-paced, complex environments with competing priorities and ambiguity. Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches.


Nice to have: Experience in delivering change within Financial Services, Banking, Asset Management, Fund Administration, FinTech, or other regulated environments. Familiarity with regulatory, operational resilience, information security, or cyber security requirements applicable to financial institutions. Experience leading large-scale transformation, integration, migration, or onboarding programmes. Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar portfolio and delivery management tools.
