Retail Store Assistant Position at Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited, Jabulani Permanent position within Retail Sales sector, Reference number 206156

This role is available at Dis-Chem Pharmacies' Jabulani location. The primary responsibility is to support overall store management, ensuring all operational and administrative tasks align with standard policies and procedures.

Essential qualifications include a Grade 12/Matric certificate, basic computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook, SAP experience, and previous retail experience. Key duties involve managing customer compliments and complaints, cultivating professional relationships, resolving customer stock queries, managing customer inquiries, adhering to customer turnover rates, handling refund and return transactions, ensuring back shopping and returned goods are dealt with correctly, verifying and reviewing deliveries and invoices for accuracy, assisting the Receiving Manager with Distribution Centre claims, maintaining high-risk stock management, preparing and reviewing daily run reconciliations, managing cashiers' change requirements, and maintaining effective communication and document control.

Competencies required include retail administration and operational knowledge, teamwork, excellent customer relations, leadership and management skills, trustworthiness, honesty, the ability to work under pressure, and deadline-driven performance. Essential conditions of employment require South African citizenship, a valid MIE, a clear criminal and credit record, and either a driver's license or a reliable personal vehicle.
