Job Opportunity An exciting career opening is available with S HAULIERS, Steelpoort, part of the REINHARDT TRANSPORT GROUP (PTY) LTD for the role of: FLEET MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
Job Summary: - Supervise all facets of fleet operations, including management of fleet activities, fuel consumption tracking, route planning, and scheduling. - Continuously monitor driver and vehicle performance to enhance productivity. - Manage driver schedules, routes, and assignments, ensuring adherence to regulations and company policies. - Communicate regularly with drivers to provide updates and resolve any issues; track orders and deliveries. - Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards. - Coordinate vehicle maintenance, including scheduling services and conducting COF inspections to maintain a safe and roadworthy fleet. - Generate reports on fleet performance, efficiency, productivity, and other management requirements.
Requirements: - Matriculation - Computer literacy - Proficiency in Excel (mandatory) - Minimum 1ā3 yearsā experience in fleet management (controller) - Own transport - Sober habits - Ability to work night shifts - Willingness to work long hours, including public holidays and weekends
