Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a knowledgeable Health Consultant specializing in vitamins and supplements for their Castle Gate store. Your role will involve actively promoting and selling Dis-Chem Health Focus products, delivering exceptional customer service.

Minimum Requirements: Essential: Grade 12 / Matric Minimum of 6 months’ sales experience in a vitamins/health environment Strong command of the English language Computer literate – MS Office Sound numerical skills Willing and able to work retail hours

Advantageous: Qualification in BSc Biomedicine and/or BSc Biotechnology, or relevant qualification within the health focus field Sales experience in a retail environment Experience in the health industry (vitamins, supplements or health foods) Fluent in a 2nd language prominently spoken in the area

Job Description: - Assist and advise customers, ensuring top-tier customer care and service - Support back-shopping when requested, to maintain department and store efficiency - Keep health focus area displays stocked and well-presented - Report any price discrepancies to management - Adhere to store layouts within the Health Department - Ensure broadsheet items are effectively displayed, marketed, and available - Implement promotional displays and merchandising materials - Achieve monthly team, brand, and vendor targets - Stay updated with new products and product lines - Follow Health Department’s administrative processes and procedures, including weekly returns, stock control, and monitoring stock levels
