Nurture Health Group is looking for a dedicated and patient-focused Physiotherapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. You will report to the Therapy Manager and be instrumental in assisting patients to regain strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence. Collaborating with a variety of healthcare professionals, you will provide top-tier rehabilitation services aimed at achieving optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical and functional capabilities, then create, implement, and oversee personalized physiotherapy treatment plans to enhance mobility, independence, and rehabilitation results. - Administer a range of interventions such as mobility retraining, neurorehabilitation, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, musculoskeletal and orthopaedic rehabilitation, balance retraining, fall prevention, exercise prescription, wheelchair seating, and mobility equipment prescription. - Educate patients and caregivers, plan discharge and home exercise programs, work in tandem with the interdisciplinary team to set patient-centred goals, and maintain precise clinical documentation and billing records.

Requirements

• Must be registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) under the Board for Physiotherapy, Podiatry, and Biokinetics in the category of Independent Practice (Physiotherapy). - Demonstrated experience in physical rehabilitation with strong clinical reasoning, comprehensive assessment, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration abilities. - Proficient understanding of the Health Professions Act, Physiotherapy Scope of Practice Regulations, HPCSA and SASP guidelines, with a dedication to accountability, empathy, teamwork, professionalism, and ongoing professional development.
