We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic interdisciplinary rehabilitation team at Nurture Health. Reporting directly to the Nursing Manager, the successful candidate will be instrumental in providing top-tier nursing care, enhancing patients’ clinical status, and facilitating their meaningful participation in rehabilitation programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee nursing care plans, assign and delegate nursing tasks, and monitor patients’ clinical conditions to ensure safe and effective care. - Administer medications, manage emergency equipment, handle emergency responses, provide wound and continence care, and ensure safe patient discharge processes. - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, educate patients and their families, participate in clinical decision-making, and maintain precise clinical documentation.

Experience with ventilators is an essential requirement for this role.

Requirements

• Must be registered with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse, with demonstrated experience in managing medically complex patients in high-pressure clinical environments. - Proficient in clinical assessment, nursing leadership, delegation, communication, and rehabilitation-focused care planning, with the ability to influence interdisciplinary decision-making. - Passionate about rehabilitation and patient wellbeing, with a strong commitment to professional ethics, teamwork, continuous learning, adaptability, accountability, and making calm decisions under pressure.
