We are seeking an experienced Logistics Planner to join a dynamic supply chain environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating branch stock requirements, planning vehicle loads, and ensuring efficient logistics operations. The role requires strong logistics planning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective stock management and customer service delivery. Minimum RequirementsDegree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years’ experience within a logistics or supply chain environmentExperience within the chemical manufacturing industry essentialStrong logistics planning and transport coordination experienceExperience with stock management and inventory optimisationProficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience working with Sage ERP advantageousExperience with demand planning software advantageousStrong communication and problem-solving skillsKey ResponsibilitiesCoordinate branch stock requirements and vehicle load planningAssess demand and plan trailer, tanker, and container loadsEnsure efficient stockholding across branches by preventing overstocking and stock-outsPlan collections and deliveries according to operational requirementsPrepare picking slips and dispatch documentationCoordinate load changes with warehouse teamsManage branch queries and provide customer backorder ETAsEnsure vehicles are loaded according to required deadlinesCoordinate export order requirements with production and warehouse teamsLiaise with procurement, production, supply chain, and other departmentsManage return loads and optimise transport costsMonitor logistics performance and compile reportsSupport stock count activitiesHow to Apply:Contact Hire Resolve today for your next career-changing moveOur client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.
