### Role Overview As the Vehicle Stock Controller, you will be accountable for the comprehensive management of the dealership’s vehicle inventory. Your duties will encompass tracking all vehicle movements, maintaining precise records, collaborating with sales and service teams, and performing regular audits to uphold inventory integrity.

### Key Responsibilities - Oversee the ingress and egress of every vehicle within the dealership. - Maintain accurate documentation of stock quantities and locations. - Liaise with sales and service departments to satisfy customer orders and dealership needs. - Execute routine inventory audits to verify stock accuracy. - Provide management with reports on stock levels, trends, and any discrepancies. - Quickly identify and resolve stock‑related issues. - Apply and sustain best practices in inventory management. - Ensure daily, accurate capture of purchase information. - Perform basic administrative duties, including creditor verification. - Facilitate vehicle intake procedures. - Handle vehicle invoicing and cheque issuance. - Produce monthly reports on outstanding orders. - Contact suppliers regarding unpaid invoices and reconcile vehicle costing against departmental cost sheets. - Verify that all required documentation is present in the dealer file prior to processing. - Support the stock controller in sales reporting. - Allocate daily debtor information and update the back‑office system. - Keep the workspace tidy and organized. - Report any financial deviations to the Finance team. - Conduct bi‑weekly stock takes of all vehicles. - Prepare provisions for all in‑stock vehicles. - Issue purchase orders and update the retail stock list. - Manage the demo fleet, updating Matrix and back‑office reports on a weekly basis. - Oversee licensing and registration for new and used vehicles.
