Our construction industry client is in search of a skilled Cabinet Installation & Fabrication Lead to join their team. The successful individual should possess substantial hands-on expertise in the crafting, finishing, and installation of kitchen and bedroom cabinets, along with a proven track record in supervisory or foreman roles. Candidates must demonstrate a keen eye for detail, superior finishing standards, and the capacity to direct a team, ensuring projects are executed to high standards, on schedule, and in accordance with specifications.
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in cabinet fabrication and installation • Documented experience in the installation of cupboards • Prior experience as a foreman, supervisor, or team leader • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans • Ability to prepare precise cutting lists • Extensive knowledge of cabinetry materials, hardware, fittings, and installation techniques • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and neatness • Strong understanding of measurements and the ability to adhere to specifications • Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills • Willingness to travel to various project locations as needed • A valid driver’s license is advantageous
Responsibilities
• Supervise and oversee the installation of kitchen and bedroom cabinets • Interpret building plans, technical drawings, and cabinetry specifications • Develop and verify cutting lists and material requirements • Measure and evaluate installation spaces for accurate fitment • Ensure all cabinets are properly aligned, leveled, fitted, and finished • Monitor the quality of workmanship and uphold high standards of finishing, detail, and neatness • Inspect completed installations and identify any defects or necessary adjustments • Manage tools, materials, and equipment for projects • Ensure adherence to safe working practices at all times • Travel to different project sites as required • Maintain a professional standard of workmanship and customer service
