Our client is looking for an intermediate Data Engineer to join their team for a one-year fixed-term contract. This role will involve working on data platforms, pipelines, and cloud-based solutions in a collaborative hybrid setting.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. · 3–6 years of relevant experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or similar roles. · Strong proficiency in Python and SQL. · Solid understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and data engineering principles. · Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. · Practical experience with big data technologies. · Proficiency in Linux environments and scripting. · Good understanding of DevOps principles and automation. · Strong problem-solving skills with a systems-thinking approach. · Excellent attention to detail and a reliability-focused mindset.
Advantageous
· Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. · Exposure to MLOps and machine learning workflows. · Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines. · Familiarity with real-time data processing. · Experience within healthcare, research, or public-sector environments.
