• Executes the HSE components of the Business Operating System (BOS) • Aids the site team and department in upholding HSE compliance and supports their professional growth • Helps deliver competitive advantages by enhancing efficiencies and minimizing costs
Qualifications
• Hold a SAMTRAC / NEBOSH Certificate • Complete ISO 45001 - Introduction • Accredited with ISO 14001 - Introduction • Familiar with Legal Liability • Experienced in Fall Protection Plan • Qualified as a Risk Officer • Trained as an Incident Investigator • Certified as a First Aider
Experience
• A minimum of 4 years in technical experience
Professional Registration and Statutory Appointment
• Registered with SACPCMP as a Certified Health and Safety Officer (CHSO)
Relationships
• Works closely with client and professional teams • Collaborates with internal customers • Engages with project-based staff • Participates in voluntary associations: MBA, ACHASM, SAIOSH
Role Specific Demands
• Capable of managing pressure and advising site management • Possesses own transport
