BRIEF DESCRIPTION:-

The Commercial Vehicle Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing sales achievements, leading and coaching the sales team, formulating sales strategies, and identifying new business prospects. Key requirements include five years of sales leadership experience, proficiency in cold calling, and a valid Code 8 driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly and annual sales achievements • Establish clear targets for both individual and team members • Track outcomes and implement corrective measures when necessary • Lead, inspire, and nurture the sales team • Provide sales personnel with coaching on product understanding, performance, and closing techniques • Formulate and execute sales strategies • Identify and pursue new business prospects • Engage in cold calling to penetrate the commercial vehicle market • Collaborate with Marketing on generating leads • Develop and sustain strong customer relationships • Report on sales performance and market dynamics

Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12 • Approximately 5 years in a comparable sales leadership position • Demonstrated experience in a high-volume commercial truck / commercial vehicle setting • Extensive sales-management and team-leadership expertise • Proven track record in cold calling and securing new business • Skills in developing and implementing sales strategies • Proficiency in managing customer relationships • SAP experience • Valid Code 8 driver’s license and personal vehicle
