The Data Analyst is responsible for enabling, implementing, delivering, and supporting credit risk data and reporting solutions. The role focuses on ensuring that credit risk information, reporting processes, and related projects are delivered accurately, completely, and within agreed timelines, while continuously identifying opportunities to improve data structures, processes, controls, and operational efficiency. The Credit Risk Analyst provides business stakeholders with reliable, high-quality information and insights to support effective decision-making at all levels of the organization. The role ensures that all data, analytics, and visualization solutions comply with established data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Through the effective use of data analysis and risk intelligence, the Credit Risk Analyst transforms data into meaningful information and actionable insights that support informed business decisions, enhance risk management practices, and contribute to the achievement of organizational objectives.
Accountability: Data Management and Data Visualization /Reporting
Deliver key strategic data projects following the data standards and principles. This includes performing tasks in the data delivery lifecycle i.e. identifying data sources, analysis and interpreting data, data mapping, development (coding and scripting), testing, performing releases, and documenting project deliverables. Design, implement, and maintain credit risk data and reporting solutions. Deliver accurate, complete, and timely credit risk reporting and analytics. Support credit risk projects and business initiatives through data-driven insights. Continuously improve data processes, controls, governance, and operational effectiveness. Ensure compliance with data governance policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and management information reports. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and business opportunities. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and business needs. Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for decision-makers. Support data quality initiatives and ensure the integrity and consistency of credit risk data.
Accountability: Stakeholder ManagementÂ
Coordinate all changes on the platform to ensure ongoing stability by contributing to business and project requirements on an adhoc basis. Take remedial action to ensure seamless customer service. Provide support to ensure data services are running as per service level agreements. Escalate non-adherence through the relevant channels within SLA context. Maintain professional relationships with stakeholders ensuring continuous communication and managing expectations. Engage and provide data support to internal and external audit.Â
Accountability: Data Governance and Adherence
Ensure proper data governance is in place adhering to risk and control principles in deliverables and perform risk and control assessments, front to back for the allocated business. Ensure controls are in place over applications to ensure the data integrity by performing data integrity gap analysis Monitor and track data quality issues, identify gaps, and apply action plans to remediate gap Manage user and group permissions and authorizations via request.Â

Sharing knowledge and skills. Focus on data skills evolution and remain relevant. Proactively increases technical skills through active research. Keep abreast of legislation and other industry changes that impact on role by reading the relevant newsletters, websites and attending sessions.Â
Education and Experience Required
Bachelorâs Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems. Â Mathematics, Applied Mathematics or Statistics. 4+ years of relevant experience in Data Management, Business Intelligence, Data quality management Coding skills (Python, R) would be of benefit Visualization skillsets Power BI or ClickView would be of benefit
