Sol Plaatje Local Municipality will provide the successful graduate with experiential training that will result in the development of technical knowledge. The focus is on training to become registered professionals with the required professional body. The intern will be trained by Sol Plaatje Local Municipality for the duration of the contract. Candidates may apply for vacant posts as qualified professionals on completion of the training. Interns will receive the following fixed stipends with no additional benefits: R216 000 ā R252 000/a
Minimum Qualifications for Candidate GISc applicants
Unemployed Only GISc academic qualifications accredited by SAGC will be accepted Persons registered under GISc candidate category for Geomatics Technician or Technologist Diploma in Geomatics (GISc) ā CPUT; or Bachelor of Geomatics (GISc) CPUT; or Diploma in GIS & Technology (Esri College); or BSc Geoinformatics (UP); or BSc Geospatial Science (Wits).

Code 08/EB Driverās license will be an added advantageĀ Ability to work under pressure.
