RequirementsB Com or equivalent qualification APD Market Dealers Examination (SAFEX) 4+ years in the agricultural industry, with grain marketing experience in sales Deep understanding of SAFEX operations, grain supply chains & risk Leadership that aligns with VKB’s values Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills Good working knowledge of contracts and related legal terms
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, deploy, coordinate, and manage the Grain Marketing Strategy in alignment with sales and procurement budgets and targets, ensuring business growth and expansion. Develop and understand Mill door transactions. Understand SAFEX future contracts and calendar spreads. Collaborate with logistics to ensure seamless delivery Ensure the retention and expansion of market share. Ensure excellent service delivery. Manage and grow internal and external grain trading networks Ensure accurate pricing, contract management, and risk mitigation Proactively seek out new business opportunities Align all trading operations with legal compliance and company values
