ROLE OBJECTIVE
Lead and oversee HVAC/Mechanical engineering projects for expansive facilities.
MAIN DELIVERABLES
Experience in overseeing and executing HVAC/Mechanical engineering projects for large-scale facilities. Ability to perform physical assessments and provide technical specifications for mechanical assets. Propose and implement innovative methods based on industry best practices to achieve cost-effective solutions. Manage SLA agreements with suppliers and contractors to uphold and enhance service delivery standards. Offer technical support to on-site operations and maintenance teams. Ensure that fault-finding and emergency rectification procedures comply with relevant legislation and facility requirements. Guarantee that quality control, project outputs, and related work are completed on schedule. Deliver timely feedback to the Supervisor and Client regarding the progress of technical projects and initiatives. Prepare and present technical proposals and professional reports on technical works.
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Candidates must fulfill the following criteria: Matric (Senior Certificate) B-Tech, BSc Eng, or B. Eng in Mechanical Engineering Five years of experience as a mechanical engineer/technologist specializing in HVAC. Three years of experience managing and delivering HVAC/Mechanical engineering projects for large-scale facilities. Ability to conduct asset condition assessments and technical specifications. Capable of developing proposals and feasibility studies for senior management and clients. HVAC-R trade test is advantageous. Strong understanding of HVAC systems and components. Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook. Knowledge of SAP Understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act Valid South African Driverās License
