Our client, a reputable construction firm, is looking for a seasoned Site Agent to oversee the entire lifecycle of construction projects, from initial planning to final completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading site teams, managing schedules and production goals, controlling expenditures, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and contractual obligations. This role offers an excellent chance for a proficient construction professional adept in managing site operations, budgets, timelines, and client interactions.
Requirements: · Minimum 7 years’ experience in civil construction, particularly in Major Steel Pipelines, Roads & Earthworks, and Bulk Water Storage · Education: Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field · Professional registration with ECSA as Pr. Eng, Pr. Tech OR with the SACPCMP as a Pr. CM · Extensive experience in site management and construction operations · Demonstrated capability in managing site teams, including foremen and engineers · Robust understanding of construction planning, schedules, and production targets · Proficiency in daily costing, cost reporting, and budget management · Comprehensive knowledge of construction contracts and Conditions of Contract · Strong expertise in quality and safety management
