**Job Overview** Based in Somerset West, our client is looking for a dedicated Junior Field Service Technician. The ideal candidate will be tasked with providing quotations, executing repairs, and conducting preventative maintenance on equipment both in the workshop and on-site at client locations. This position requires high standards of customer service, technical diagnostics, and frequent field travel throughout Cape Town and its surrounding regions.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Technical Repairs and Maintenance:** - Perform diagnostics, repairs, and testing of equipment at client sites and within the workshop, aiming for a zero-percent return rate. - Carry out warranty repairs utilizing designated vehicle spares.

**Quoting and Inspections:** - Inspect incoming units, compile precise service/maintenance reports with accompanying photos, and submit quote data to the Branch Lead.

**Customer Service and Client Interaction:** - Serve as a professional brand ambassador, offering prompt on-site service while adhering to site procedures and aiding clients with machine loading/offloading tasks.

**Workshop and Administrative Duties:** - Manage machine check-ins and check-outs, attach ID tags and POD documentation, complete daily log sheets and job cards, and maintain accuracy of vehicle and workshop inventory.

**On-Call Services:** - Attend scheduled service calls and be available for assigned after-hours and weekend standby duties.

**Requirements & Qualifications**

**Education:** - Matric certificate; formal electrical or electronic qualification is highly advantageous.

**Experience:** - Minimum of six months of hands-on experience in an electrical or electronic environment, along with solid customer service experience.
