This opportunity is available for an experienced Interior Designer & Showroom Manager, possessing a strong background in luxury furniture, home décor, or lifestyle retail. The combined design and management role involves providing personalized design consultations, cultivating strong client relationships, and driving sales. Responsibilities also include overseeing daily showroom operations, such as stock control, point-of-sale systems, and inventory audits.
Key Responsibilities 1. Lead the sales team to achieve and surpass monthly sales targets and key performance indicators. 2. Offer tailored interior design advice to clients, architects, and interior designers. 3. Establish and maintain lasting customer relationships to close high-value sales. 4. Manage daily showroom operations, including stock control, point-of-sale systems, and inventory audits. 5. Ensure excellent visual merchandising standards and coordinate seasonal showroom updates. 6. Recruit, train, and motivate sales consultants to deliver exceptional customer service.
Minimum Requirements - Minimum of 3-5 years of retail store management experience. - Previous experience in luxury furniture, home décor, or lifestyle retail is essential. - Formal qualification or extensive proven background in Interior Design, Architecture, or Visual Merchandising. - Demonstrated ability to close high-value sales and manage customer relationships. - Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Excel and POS systems. - Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills. - Willingness to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and public holidays. - Must reside in Paarl.
