Position Description -------------------- We are seeking a seasoned IT Risk Officer to bolster our information security, risk, governance, and compliance initiatives. Your duties will encompass identifying and managing security risks, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and preserving suitable security controls and procedures.

Responsibilities ----------------- - Perform information security and risk evaluations. - Identify, evaluate, and document security and operational risks. - Aid in the deployment and oversight of security controls. - Contribute to security governance, risk, and compliance endeavors. - Ensure compliance with POPIA and other relevant regulatory requirements. - Analyze processes and systems to uncover potential security or compliance deficiencies. - Preserve security and risk documentation. - Monitor identified risks and their remediation progress. - Support internal and external audits as needed. - Collaborate with internal teams to implement security and compliance measures. - Assist in crafting and maintaining security policies, standards, and procedures. - Stay abreast of evolving security, privacy, and regulatory landscapes.
