Job Title: Maintenance Worker

Position SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker to join our team. The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the repair and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and grounds. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing plumbing or electrical systems, painting, and carpentry work. Conduct inspections of buildings, equipment, and grounds to identify maintenance needRespond to maintenance requests from staff and tenants in a timely mannerMaintain proper records of maintenance work performedMonitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipmentEnsure compliance with safety regulations and protocolsAssist with snow removal, landscaping, and other seasonal maintenance tasks as needed
Qualifications and ExperienceNQF level 4 required2 to 3 years’ experienceExperience/qualification in plumbing work or electrical work is advantageous
