An opportunity exists for a Product Development Specialist to spearhead the innovation and launch of new products for our client based in the Western Cape. The chosen candidate will oversee the entire product development process, from initial concept and testing to final production, ensuring that both quality and commercial objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities: • Formulate and enhance new product concepts • Organize and conduct product trials, as well as manage prototypes and samples • Execute product testing and analyze the outcomes • Collaborate on product specifications and technical documentation • Cooperate with production, quality, and technical teams • Identify enhancements for current products and processes • Address and resolve product-related issues • Facilitate the transition of successful products into production • Track development projects and adhere to agreed timelines • Support cost optimization and assess production feasibility • Keep precise records of product development activities • Ensure compliance with relevant quality and operational standards
