Our client in the Eastern Cape is looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee and optimize the beverage manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for a proactive leader skilled in high-volume production and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities: · Supervise all production activities within the designated manufacturing zones. · Formulate and track production schedules according to market demand. · Guarantee the achievement of production targets, quality benchmarks, and delivery timelines. · Lead production supervisors, team leaders, and operational staff. · Evaluate line performance, productivity metrics, and overall equipment effectiveness. · Detect and address production bottlenecks and initiate effective solutions. · Manage production losses, waste, and unnecessary operating expenses. · Ensure proper handling and availability of raw materials and packaging supplies. · Collaborate closely with quality assurance and technical teams. · Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and good manufacturing practices. · Organize planned maintenance and tackle equipment-related issues promptly. · Support employee training, performance management, and skills development. · Foster a safe, disciplined, and continuous improvement-oriented work environment.
