**Job Objectives**
Our ideal candidate will be committed to upholding the highest standards of customer service and care, as well as efficiently managing stock control and administration, including repacking of medicine. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing accurate and timely pharmaceutical care services within the scope of practice - Maintaining efficient dispensary administration in accordance with the company's Standard Operating Plans (SOPs) - Offering general health advice to customers while ensuring high standards of product knowledge and OTC product awareness - Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display to create an inviting shopping environment - Adapting to ad hoc requirements as per operational needs
**Minimum Requirements**
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Matric with Mathematics as a compulsory subject - Compliance with the Health Professions Council of South Africa's minimum requirements for the various levels of Pharmacist Assistant (Qualified, Post Basic, and Learner Basic)
**Essential Skills and Competencies**
As a successful Pharmacist Assistant QPB, you will demonstrate the following skills, abilities, and job-related knowledge:
- In-depth product knowledge of the Health isle and OTC products - Familiarity with SAPC and relevant legal knowledge - Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering results and meeting customer expectations - Strong team player with integrity, adhering to principles and values, and upholding ethical working practices - Attention to detail and accuracy in compounding and administration tasks - Proficiency in basic calculations and business operating systems, including MS Office
