Job Title: Pharmacist (Through the Night/Day) – Unicare Parklands
Unicare Parklands is currently seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Pharmacist to join our team at the Unicare 24 Hour Pharmacy in Parklands. Reporting directly to the Dispensary Manager, this role offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our customers while upholding the high standards of the Clicks Group.
Key Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care, ensuring accurate and safe dispensing practices, and providing expert advice in line with the UniCare way of working, good pharmacy practice, and the legal scope of practice as defined by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC). This will involve:
- Providing high-quality care to patients, including the provision of generic substitution advice and other relevant services * Efficiently managing the dispensary's operational activities, including stock management, housekeeping, and administration in compliance with SAPC regulations and company standards * Overseeing the training and development of Pharmacist Assistants and Pharmacist Interns to ensure they meet the necessary SAPC requirements * Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and customers * Collaborating with the clinic and healthcare departments to provide a comprehensive healthcare offering to our customers * Embodying the company's values and vision to become the customer's first choice health and beauty retailer
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A Bachelor of Pharmacy (B Pharm) degree * A minimum of 2 years of experience after completing your community service (or a minimum of 0-1 year for minimum requirements) * Retail pharmacy experience is highly desirable
