Description: Hire Resolve's client in the mining sector is seeking an accomplished Superintendent of Social Performance to join their operations in Mpumalanga. The ideal candidate will spearhead the development, execution, and management of social performance initiatives aimed at enhancing community relations, ensuring regulatory adherence, and promoting sustainable socio-economic growth in local communities.

Responsibilities: - Guide the formulation and implementation of social performance strategies. - Guarantee alignment with ESG and ICMM standards across all social performance activities. - Draft and present social performance reports and compliance documents. - Lead and nurture the social performance team. - Promote community engagement programs that build trust and collaboration. - Ensure social performance strategies support corporate sustainability objectives. - Track and report on social impact metrics to maintain compliance and transparency. - Manage stakeholder engagement and community relations processes. - Collaborate with local communities, Traditional Leaders, NGOs, and government entities to achieve mutual benefits. - Supervise the implementation of the Social and Labour Plan (SLP).

Requirements: - A Grade 12 certificate - Honours or Post Graduate Degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related fields - Project Management Certificate - Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in social performance within the mining industry - Minimum 3-5 years’ in a managerial or supervisory capacity - Strong knowledge of ICMM, ESG, BBBEE, Mining Charter, and Social and Labour Plan (SLP) requirements - Extensive experience in stakeholder and community engagement - Proven track record in managing social performance and community development programs - Valid Driver's License
