**Vacancy Details**
Recruitpro Solutions is currently seeking an accomplished and sales-focused Branch Manager for our client, a leading provider of mineral processing equipment. The ideal candidate will be tasked with expanding the spares, service, and refurbishment business in the Northern Cape region. The successful individual will be stationed in Kathu and will be responsible for enhancing regional sales, organizing and leading service teams, and serving as the primary technical and commercial liaison for mining clients in the area. This position involves both office and field duties, with regular visits to mine sites.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Sales and Business Development**
- Formulate and implement sales strategies for aftersales services, spare parts, and maintenance solutions. - Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the mineral separation and comminution equipment sectors. - Achieve or surpass regional sales targets, fostering growth in the spares and services business, and increasing market share at key mine sites.
**Customer Relationship Management**
- Establish and nurture robust relationships with mining companies and processing plants. - Offer technical support and aftersales solutions to guarantee customer satisfaction. - Address customer concerns and escalate technical issues as necessary.
**Technical and Aftersales Support**
- Guide customers on equipment maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting. - Collaborate with service teams to ensure timely and efficient aftersales support. - Conduct site visits to assess equipment performance and propose enhancements.
**Service Team Set-Up and Management**
- Initiate and oversee service teams for equipment maintenance and support in the Northern Cape. - Ensure teams are well-trained, equipped, and deployed efficiently. - Monitor team performance and enhance operational efficiency.
**Spares and Refurbishment**
- Oversee spare parts inventory to ensure timely availability of critical components. - Develop and implement refurbishment strategies to prolong equipment lifespan. - Coordinate with engineering and procurement to enhance parts supply and refurbishment processes.
**Market Analysis and Reporting**
- Keep abreast of market trends and competitor activities in the Northern Cape mining sector. - Provide management with regular sales reports and forecasts.
**Minimum Requirements**
- At least 5 years of experience in aftersales, technical sales, service, or site management, or business development within the mining or heavy equipment industry. - Comprehensive technical knowledge of mineral separation and comminution equipment. - Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. - Outstanding communication and negotiation skills. - Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach. - Capability to work independently. - Proficiency in MS Office. - Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation. - Willingness to be based in Kathu and travel extensively within the Northern Cape.
