Job Description The Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Cosmetics Consultant for their Hemmingways store. This role involves promoting and selling Dis-Chem's cosmetic and beauty products through exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities - Escalate serious and unresolved customer complaints to the manager. - Deliver high-quality customer care and service. - Demonstrate products through makeovers, cosmetics demonstrations, spray promotions, and other activities. - Manage stock levels in compliance with Dis-Chem procedures, reporting on short, damaged, and expired stock to the manager. - Ensure merchandising and displays are visually appealing. - Increase store income by achieving department, brand, and vendor sales targets. - Stay updated on products, brands, and industry trends. - Manage Salon appointments. - Adhere to Dis-Chem policies, procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and health and safety regulations.

Competencies Essential: - Proficiency in English (both written and oral) - Ability to work effectively as part of a team - Excellent customer service skills - Understanding of stock reports, sales calculations, and commission structures - Ability to work according to a schedule Advantageous: - Experience in promotions, personal selling, sales targets, and customer liaison - Product knowledge - Previous sales and promotional training - Bilingual abilities - Stock management skills
