Job Description

The Store Controller/Coordinator is responsible for receiving completed pick slips from warehouse personnel. They ensure correct equipment is recorded in the database for stock allocation on jobs. This includes receiving stock, filing pick slips after processing, posting stock receipts in the ERP system, updating the GRV register, and assisting with stock takes during month-end. The incumbent will also handle ad-hoc duties as required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure all pick slips are executed daily. - Process stock receipts daily. - File paperwork according to the pick slip register. - Conduct stock reduction. - Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse admin area. - Process GRV documents. - Collect quotes for allocated areas. - Check quotes on Listener and assign them to a technician. - Prioritize calls to optimize travel time for technicians. - Schedule jobs efficiently based on capacity and geographic location. - Contact clients to schedule appointments and confirm times, including telephone and control room bookings. - Assist sales in booking technicians and voiding aged jobs, providing pipeline figures of installations. - Manage BNS and insurance reports. - Schedule installations for sales and ensure all documents from OTC are handed to the Technical Manager for technician allocation (including invoice stats). - Follow up on Top 20, Low Bat, and Overactive lists, resolving all scheduling-related queries immediately and escalating complications as needed. - Assist technicians with radio loading and testing. - Provide EHS assistance and technical support to clients. - Follow up on all jobs with forward for same-day scheduling. - Ensure department efficiency by assisting in relieving a team member's absence. - Order, issue, and control stock/warehouse responsibilities, assisting with stock takes. - Aid in technical invoicing. - Distribute service and installation stock to technicians.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Matric/Grade 12 - Previous warehouse experience is beneficial - Proficiency in data capturing, Excel, and Microsoft Office - Familiarity with SAP is advantageous - Strong attention to detail - Ability to work under pressure - Excellent people skills - Teamwork and adaptability - Fast learner - Time management and accuracy
