Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited is seeking a Cosmetic Manager for their Parow store. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management of cosmetic and beauty categories within the store. This role requires the promotion and sale of Dis-Chem cosmetic and beauty products through outstanding and consistent customer service. The manager should ensure that staff are available to assist customers on the floor.

Minimum Requirements: Essential: Grade 12 / Matric A minimum of 3 years’ experience in cosmetics or beauty within a retail setting Previous experience in supervising and managing a team of around 7 staff Proficiency in MS Office Willingness and ability to work retail hours Advantageous: Experience with SAP Experience with Qlikview

Job Specification

Direct and support sales staff in accordance with Dis-Chem policies, procedures, and retail working practices under the guidance of the Store Manager Ensure that Cosmetic Consultants are allocated to the appropriate areas Ensure staff receive relevant training and manage feedback Ensure the store is adequately staffed at all times Be accountable for managing stock control through effective planning and ordering in collaboration with Dis-Chem’s warehouse Manage and address customer compliments and complaints Escalate serious and unresolved customer complaints to the Store Manager or Regional Cosmetic Manager Maintain merchandising and displays to ensure a high standard of cleanliness Ensure that monthly promotions are carried out to achieve department targets Keep up to date with in-depth knowledge regarding products, brands, and market trends
