E&D Recruiters is seeking a seasoned Draughting Office Lead for a leading Consulting Engineering firm based in Secunda.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:** - 15-20 years of experience in engineering design draughting, specifically in concrete and steel structures - Expertise in Autodesk Revit or MicroStation - Previous draughting experience within industrial plants such as Oil & Gas, Chemical, Mining, and Power Generation Plants - Demonstrated ability to manage a draughting team - Technical diploma in draughting or related field (preferred) - Valid driver’s license

**RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:** - Supervising all draughting personnel and overseeing the daily operations of the draughting office - Planning and prioritizing draughting projects and resources - Providing guidance, support, and training to the draughting team - Organizing and maintaining accurate documentation of drawings, submittals, and schedules - Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of finished drawings by coordinating with engineering and design teams - Collaborating on the conversion of engineering designs into detailed drawings, calculating dimensions and material requirements - Conducting 3D modelling and creating construction drawings, identifying and reporting clashes or constructability issues - Efficiently managing draughting activities and eliminating unnecessary rework - Ensuring project drawings meet quality standards and customer specifications - Developing and implementing draughting policies, procedures, and workflows, as well as incorporating industry trends
