An exceptional opportunity exists for an Electrical Engineer to bolster the technical operations, reliability, and ongoing enhancement of our client's FMCG manufacturing facility in Gauteng.
Key Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive electrical engineering support throughout manufacturing processes • Oversee and facilitate electrical maintenance and enhancement projects • Analyze and resolve electrical equipment malfunctions • Optimize electrical systems within the plant to enhance reliability and efficiency • Collaborate in the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical equipment • Work in tandem with maintenance, production, and automation teams • Assist with identifying and addressing electrical faults and root-cause analyses • Develop and review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation • Ensure compliance with electrical, safety, and engineering standards • Support capital projects and equipment upgrades • Identify avenues to boost energy efficiency and overall plant performance • Contribute to preventative maintenance strategies and equipment reliability • Offer technical guidance to maintenance and production staff • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives
Minimum Requirements: • Matric certificate • BEng/ BSc/ BTech in Electrical Engineering • ECSA registration • Prior experience in electrical engineering within the FMCG or manufacturing sectors • Extensive knowledge of industrial electrical systems • Experience with manufacturing equipment and plant utilities • Familiarity with automation, PLCs, and control systems (advantageous) • Capability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
