MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: A recognized Engineering or Commercial qualification Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role Familiarity with Bulk Handling Equipment and/or Systems preferred Strong technical background with the ability to effectively communicate this to clients Strong organizational and planning abilities Skilled in building long-term customer relationships Analytical, problem-solving, and resilient Independent, self-reliant with excellent interpersonal skills Assertive and capable of making decisive actions Dedicated, focused, and adept at multitasking Proficient in both verbal and written communication Ability to formulate costings and determine profit margins Knowledge of GA drawings and P&ID’s Experience with project tenders Comprehensive understanding of a manufacturing business Ability to present technical solutions to customers Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: Enhancing the customer database with potential clients for company products or services Fostering long-term relationships with customers by managing and interpreting their project requirements Selling products and/or services that meet customer needs in terms of project scope, quality, price, and delivery deadlines Assisting in negotiating tender and contract terms to align with both customer and company needs Hosting technical presentations to demonstrate how the company’s products and processes meet customer needs Collaborating with the sales team and technical colleagues Helping in the design of custom-made products and systems Creating costing models and mini procurement sheets Preparing PFDs and P&IDs for projects Generating detailed and accurate project quotes Providing pre-sales technical assistance Coordinating projects with project engineers Preparing handover files and facilitating the handover to the project team Offering after-sales support services and providing technical backup as necessary Conducting product training with the site technical support team Preparing reports and maintaining customer records Supporting marketing efforts by attending trade shows and conferences Meeting monthly and annual sales targets Delivering training when required
