We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Guest Liaison / Night Relief professional to join our luxury hotel in Cape Town. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, fostering positive relationships, and ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during overnight shifts.

**Key Responsibilities**

Your primary focus will be on providing warm, personalized service to our guests, responding to their queries, and addressing their requests in a prompt and professional manner. You will also be responsible for:

• Welcoming guests and setting the tone for a memorable stay * Managing guest check-ins, check-outs, and coordinating arrivals and departures * Anticipating and meeting the needs of our discerning guests to exceed their expectations * Handling guest feedback and complaints with tact and diplomacy, resolving issues promptly where possible * Collaborating with various hotel teams, including housekeeping, food and beverage, reception, and management * Coordinating guest activities, reservations, and special requests with precision and attention to detail * Conducting night relief duties, ensuring the hotel's smooth operation during overnight shifts * Monitoring the property during night shifts, prioritizing guest comfort, safety, and security * Managing overnight inquiries and operational matters, escalating concerns to management when necessary * Completing thorough reports, administrative tasks, and handover notes for the incoming team * Maintaining exceptional standards of presentation, professionalism, and attention to detail at all times

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience in guest relations, front office, or a similar role within a luxury hotel or hospitality establishment * A deep understanding of luxury service standards and guest expectations * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively * Confidence in handling guest concerns calmly and professionally, with a solution-focused approach * Ability to work independently during night shifts, making sound decisions when required * Proficiency in computer systems, including hotel reservation or property management systems * Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including overnight duties, weekends, and public holidays * A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
