BRIEF DESCRIPTION:-

The Lodge Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of guest rooms, common areas, and reception, as well as providing exceptional customer service and assisting with front office and food and beverage services. Key responsibilities include cleaning and preparing guest rooms, maintaining a strict cleaning schedule, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have previous housekeeping or hospitality experience, excellent communication skills, and a clean, friendly, and presentable personality.

We are seeking a highly skilled, reliable, and friendly Housekeeper to join our lodge team, bringing a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Duties and Responsibilities

**Housekeeping and Maintenance**

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of guest rooms, bathrooms, showers, and toilets. This will involve making beds, changing bed linen and towels, sweeping and mopping floors, dusting furniture, and cleaning mirrors and surfaces. Additionally, they will be expected to maintain the cleanliness of reception, lounges, passages, and other common areas. Laundry duties will also be a key part of the role, including collecting, washing, drying, folding, and storing guest laundry. The Housekeeper will also be responsible for replenishing guest amenities, toiletries, and other supplies, as well as reporting any damaged items, maintenance issues, or shortages.

In maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety, the Housekeeper will be expected to follow a strict cleaning schedule and ensure that all areas are spotless before completing their duties for the day. They will also be responsible for collecting and handing in to management any guest property forgotten in the rooms. A key aspect of the role is ensuring that all rooms are cleaned to a high standard before guests check-in, including locking doors and windows before completing their cleaning tasks.

The Housekeeper will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of indoor plants and ensuring that windows are cleaned regularly.

**Front Office and Guest Services**

In addition to their housekeeping duties, the Housekeeper will be expected to provide exceptional customer service, welcoming guests warmly and assisting with check-in when required, especially after-hours. They will also assist guests with their luggage upon arrival and departure, responding politely to guests' requests and providing excellent customer service. The Housekeeper will ensure that guest rooms are clean, refreshed, and ready for check-in, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

**Food and Beverage Services**

The Housekeeper may also be required to assist with preparing and serving breakfasts and meals, as well as selling and serving guests with beverages. They will be responsible for recording sales in the sales book, maintaining accurate records and providing excellent customer service.

**Requirements**
