Position Overview Recruitpro Solutions is currently seeking skilled HVAC Technicians on behalf of a prestigious commercial air conditioning and mechanical services firm based in Darwin. This opportunity involves servicing extensive central plant systems for both government and upscale private sector clients. Candidates are sought for permanent, full-time positions under an Australian skilled-migration visa, with the potential for relocation support.
Duties & Responsibilities - Carry out maintenance, repair, and servicing of HVAC central plant and chilled water systems in commercial settings. - Diagnose and rectify issues within electrical and control circuits. - Collaborate with sophisticated building management systems (BMS) and controls. - Handle job assignments using a tablet-based system. - Ensure precise paperwork and comprehensive service reports. - Source parts and obtain pricing information. - Work independently or within a team, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
Experience & Qualifications - Hold a trade qualification as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic (Red Seal or equivalent). - Possess at least four years of experience in commercial HVAC. - Demonstrate a solid understanding of electrical and control circuits. - Ability to obtain a provisional and full NT electrical license, an NT driverās license, and a White Card. - Capable of securing a police clearance. - Excellent spoken and written English proficiency is required. - Depending on the candidate and role, additional requirements may include an English language test, a skills assessment (e.g., VETASSESS), and/or a practical workplace assessment.
