ROLE OBJECTIVE Supervise and execute HVAC/Mechanical engineering initiatives for expansive facilities.

KEY DUTIES - Directing and completing HVAC/Mechanical engineering projects for large-scale properties. - Performing physical evaluations and defining technical specifications for mechanical assets. - Identifying and suggesting innovative, best-practice solutions for cost-effective improvements. - Managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with suppliers and contractors to uphold and enhance service quality. - Offering technical guidance to on-site operations and maintenance personnel. - Ensuring that fault-finding and rectification in emergencies adhere to relevant regulations and facility operations. - Ensuring timely completion of quality control, outputs, and project-related tasks. - Delivering prompt updates to Supervisor & Client regarding technical project progress. - Preparing and presenting technical proposals and professional reports on engineering activities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERTISE - A Matric (Senior Certificate) and B-Tech, BSc Eng or B. Eng in Mechanical Engineering. - At least 5 years of experience as an HVAC mechanical engineer or technologist. - 3 years of experience managing and completing HVAC/Mechanical engineering projects for large-scale facilities. - Competency in conducting asset condition assessments and technical specifications. - Capability to draft proposals and feasibility studies for presentation to senior management and clients. - HVAC-R trade test is highly advantageous. - Proficient understanding of HVAC systems and components. - Intermediate skill in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook. - Knowledge of SAP systems. - Familiarity with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act). - Valid South African Driver’s License.
