Our client, a rapidly expanding engineering consultancy, invites applications for a Junior Mechanical Draftsperson to join their diverse team. Candidates should possess a solid background in mechanical draughting and proficiency in Revit, with electrical draughting experience being a plus. This role offers growth potential for aspiring MEP professionals working alongside seasoned engineers and designers.
Requirements: ¡ Relevant Diploma, Certificate, or qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Draughting, or a related field ¡ Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Draughting, or related field ¡ Minimum 2 yearsâ experience in mechanical/building services draughting ¡ Essential experience with Revit and AutoCAD ¡ Strong mechanical draughting and technical drawing skills ¡ Advantageous exposure to HVAC, wet services, or other mechanical building services ¡ Highly advantageous electrical draughting/building services experience
Responsibilities: ¡ Create and update mechanical building services drawings using Revit ¡ Support engineers in the development and coordination of mechanical designs ¡ Prepare detailed layouts, plans, sections, and technical drawings ¡ Assist with documentation for HVAC, wet services, and other mechanical building services ¡ Coordinate mechanical services with electrical and other disciplines ¡ Update drawings based on design changes and site information ¡ Assist with multidisciplinary BIM coordination and clash detection ¡ Attend site visits as required and incorporate site information into drawings ¡ Maintain drawing standards, quality, and document control ¡ Collaborate closely with engineers, senior draughtsmen, and project teams to meet project deadlines
