Step Into a Role That Makes an Impact! We’re recruiting a Millwright - Processing to propel success at NBL Coffee and Creamer in Kempton Park, Gauteng. The chosen candidate will oversee high-speed packaging machinery and report directly to the Maintenance Foreman.

Job Specification

Key Performance Areas

Conduct maintenance, repair, and fault-finding tasks to ensure machine availability and production targets. Maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment on machinery. Perform electrical and mechanical planned fault-finding, maintenance, installation, and repair of all machinery. Set timing, cams, and limits on equipment according to manufacturers’ specifications. Identify root causes of plant failures. Assist with project implementation. Communicate downtime data to the Engineering Foreman and meet downtime targets. Work with food processing equipment, conveyors, homogenisers, high-pressure pumps, bag filtration, and spray drying, along with general factory equipment.

Minimum Requirements

Experience: At least 3 years’ post-trade experience as a Millwright in high-speed packaging machines and plant equipment maintenance and repairs within an FMCG environment. Knowledge: Familiarity with food processing equipment, conveyors, homogenisers, high-pressure pumps, bag filtration, and spray drying equipment.

Qualifications

Matric / Grade 12 Trade-tested as a Millwright at an accredited training facility

Additional Requirements

Working at heights - essential Working in confined spaces - essential Occupational Health and Safety Regulations Pneumatic and Electro-Pneumatic systems PLC programming and VSD set-up knowledge is advantageous. Knowledge of QMS, HACCP, and GMP - advantageous Permit issuing - advantageous TIG welding - advantageous
