Our esteemed client, a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy offering comprehensive engineering and project management services across various infrastructure sectors, is currently recruiting for an experienced Professional Civil Engineer to bolster their team. This role presents a prime opportunity for a professionally accredited engineer with extensive municipal water and wastewater expertise to oversee projects throughout their entire lifecycle—from feasibility and concept development to detailed design, construction, commissioning, and project closure.
Requirements: • Preferably over 10 years of relevant experience in municipal water and wastewater infrastructure • Education: BEng/BSc/BTech in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognized qualification • Strong experience in bulk water, pipelines, reservoirs, pump stations, and sewer infrastructure • Experience with potable water and wastewater treatment facilities • Professionally registered with ECSA as a PrEng or PrTechEng
Responsibilities: • Lead the planning, design, and execution of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects • Design and review water and wastewater treatment works, bulk water and sewer infrastructure, networks, reservoirs, and pump stations • Conduct hydraulic assessments and coordinate civil, hydraulic, and treatment process requirements • Prepare engineering reports, specifications, cost estimates, Bills of Quantities, and tender documentation • Coordinate inputs from multidisciplinary civil, process, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams
