Requirements
Experience Required: Ā· Extensive knowledge and 6-8 years of experience in various mining value chain processes, including at least 3 years of supervision in drilling and blasting. Ā· Expertise in geotechnical and Rock Engineering, with strong problem-solving skills to tackle and resolve intricate challenges within mining settings. Ā· Comprehensive understanding of surface mining operations, including extraction methods, material handling, and environmental considerations. Ā· Proficiency in managing mining equipment, with the ability to oversee and optimize equipment use for operational efficiency and safety.
Qualifications: Ā· Grade 12 Ā· Degree in Mining Engineering Ā· An Honours degree is preferred Ā· Mine Managerās Certificate of Competence Ā· A3 Safety Certificate Ā· Open Cast Blasting Certificate is advantageous
