Job Overview Goldman Tech Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drilling Section Manager to join an esteemed mining client in Kathu, Northern Cape. As leaders in mining recruitment, we are excited to present qualified candidates to our premier clients.
Position Requirements Experience Required: Ā· In-depth operational and technical knowledge with 6-8 years of experience in the mining industry, including at least 3 years of supervisory experience in drilling and blasting operations. Ā· Expertise in problem-solving, particularly in geotechnical and Rock Engineering, capable of tackling and resolving complex issues within mining settings. Ā· Thorough understanding of surface mining processes, including extraction techniques, material handling, and environmental factors. Ā· Proficiency in managing and optimizing the use of mining equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications: Ā· Grade 12 certification Ā· Degree in Mining Engineering Ā· An Honours degree is a plus Ā· Mine Managerās Certificate of Competence Ā· A3 Safety Certificate Ā· Open Cast Blasting Certificate (advantageous)
