Goldman Tech Resourcing is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Section Manager (Drilling) for a prominent mining client based in Kathu, Northern Cape. As a leading mining recruitment specialist, we are excited to bring your exceptional qualifications to the attention of this esteemed client.
Experience Required
• Extensive hands-on and technical knowledge with 6-8 years of experience within any mining value chain process, including 3 years of leadership in drilling and blasting. • Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving, particularly in geotechnical and Rock Engineering, with the ability to tackle and solve complex challenges in mining settings. • Thorough understanding of surface mining operations, including familiarity with extraction methods, material handling, and environmental considerations. • Expertise in managing mining equipment, with a track record of overseeing and optimizing equipment use for operational efficiency and safety.
Qualifications
• Grade 12 qualification. • Degree in Mining Engineering. • An Honours degree is a plus. • Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competence. • A3 Safety Certificate. • Open Cast Blasting Certificate is advantageous.
