Recruitpro Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. Our client, a leader in the engineering sector, requires a dedicated professional who can oversee product development projects from inception to final release. This role requires an individual who will not only provide expert technical advisory services to international clients but also mentor and guide junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive mechanical design projects, ensuring full ownership from concept to detailed design, prototyping, and release. - Manage client consulting engagements, evaluating customer design workflows, CAD standards, and engineering processes, and proposing enhancements. - Develop and scrutinize intricate CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation in accordance with design release and revision control protocols. - Implement advanced Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to optimize designs for cost, quality, and manufacturability. - Offer technical recommendations and conduct demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions for client teams. - Build and maintain robust relationships with international clients. - Mentor junior engineers and foster team capability growth.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering (Master’s degree is highly desirable). - Demonstrable expertise in mechanical design, product development, and engineering consulting. - Proven track record in leading and managing design projects from concept to release. - Proficient in CAD and design software. - In-depth knowledge of drawings, BOMs, revision control, manufacturing, and design release processes. - Experience in client consulting, with the ability to engage engineering managers, technical teams, and international stakeholders confidently. - Strong problem-solving, communication, and project delivery skills.

Advantageous

• Experience working with international clients across various regions and time zones. - Familiarity with PDM, PLM, ERP, or engineering data management systems. - Exposure to FEA, CFD, or other simulation tools. - Experience with design automation, templates, workflows, or engineering process improvement.
