Architect Cape Town Remuneration: Negotiable and dependent on experience
An international architectural and design practice is expanding its Cape Town studio and is looking to appoint a creative and driven Architect who is eager to grow within a dynamic, collaborative environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career architect who enjoys the front end of the design process and wants exposure to diverse, internationally focused projects. The successful candidate will contribute to concept and schematic design, helping to translate bold ideas into technically sound and buildable architectural solutions.
The role is permanent, with four days per week based in the office and little to no overtime generally expected.
Minimum Requirements: Relevant tertiary qualification in Architecture 2 to 4 years’ architectural experience Strong interest in concept and schematic design Exposure to diverse project typologies Understanding of sustainable and contextually responsive design Proficiency in Revit Working knowledge of Twinmotion, Enscape and/or Lumion Collaborative, hands-on approach Passion for architecture, design innovation, and continuous learning Advantageous Skills: Experience working on UAE-based projects Rhino Grasshopper Dynamo Key Responsibilities: Assist with concept and schematic design development Translate design ideas into practical and buildable solutions Prepare drawings, presentations, and visual material Collaborate with the broader architectural team Keep informed about emerging design trends, technologies, and software This role would suit an ambitious architect who wants to develop their skills, contribute meaningful ideas, and build a long-term career within an international design practice.
