Our client in Bryanston, Johannesburg is looking for a Civil Engineer to join their team. This role is perfect for a technically proficient individual with expertise in civil infrastructure design for extensive industrial and commercial projects, such as warehouses and retail centers.
Key Responsibilities: - Create designs for bulk earthworks, roads, paving, and related civil infrastructure. - Plan stormwater, sewer, and water networks, including reticulation systems. - Develop engineering solutions for large-scale industrial and commercial projects. - Implement municipal by-laws, town planning regulations, and applicable design requirements. - Prepare engineering designs, drawings, reports, and technical documentation. - Collaborate with project teams and other engineering professionals. - Showcase project experience and explain design decisions and responsibilities. - Deliver accurate, practical, and compliant engineering solutions.
Requirements: - Degree in BEng or BSc Engineering. - Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. - Registered with ECSA as a Candidate Engineer or Professional Engineer; Pr Tech Eng registration where applicable. - Experience in designing civil infrastructure for large industrial and commercial developments. - Proficient in Civil 3D, Devotech iDAS, and Microsoft Office. - Knowledge of municipal by-laws and town planning requirements. - Strong communication, technical writing, and problem-solving skills. - South African ID and valid driver’s licence.
