Job Description
Direct daily site activities, coordinating resources, personnel, and contractors, while upholding safety, quality, compliance, and operational efficiency standards.
Requirements
- A Grade 12 / Matric certificate is mandatory. - An NQF Level 6 National Diploma in Mining is required. - An NQF Level 7 Mining or Engineering qualification is preferred. - 3–5 years of experience in site or operations management within the mining or materials handling sector. - Strong leadership skills are essential. - Demonstrated experience in materials handling, including coal stockpile management, sloping, and feeder loading. - Familiarity with Permit to Work, Risk Assessments, and Method Statements. - Proficient in MS Office software. - A valid driver’s license is necessary. - Ability to work independently, under pressure, and on shifts or standby.
