Position Overview

Tumaini Consulting is currently looking for a dedicated Millwright to join our client's team in the Eastern Cape. The successful candidate will play a key role in minimizing the downtime of production equipment through proficient maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and automated plant systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and servicing of production and plant equipment - Respond swiftly to electrical and mechanical breakdowns - Execute preventative maintenance following set schedules - Conduct equipment inspections and determine maintenance needs - Diagnose faults in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems - Assist with the installation, upgrade, and modification of machinery - Support maintenance efforts during scheduled shutdowns - Monitor equipment conditions and recommend reliability enhancements - Investigate recurring breakdowns and aid in implementing corrective measures - Maintain precise maintenance schedules and technical documentation - Ensure tools and work areas comply with required standards - Follow occupational health and safety regulations at all times

Qualifications
