We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Engineer - Project Management Coordinator for a leading logistics and supply chain organization. The ideal candidate will oversee project execution, manage organizational changes, conduct business analyses, and design value-enhancing logistics solutions. The role encompasses project management, logistics solution design, change management, business analysis, supply chain optimization, and strategic initiative implementation across various departments.

Key Responsibilities - Oversee intricate projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, timelines, and project governance standards. - Direct and facilitate change management processes across projects and business units, guiding stakeholders through the S-Curve. - Formulate, strategize, and implement logistics solutions that add value to clients and the organization. - Collaborate with Operations, Management, EXCO, and other internal and external stakeholders for successful project delivery. - Conduct business analyses, define business requirements, and convert them into IT communications. - Create Business Requirement Specifications (BRS), SOPs, process specifications, and related documentation. - Analyze operational data and provide insights that support business goals, cost reductions, and process enhancements. - Develop business cases and feasibility studies, evaluating ROI, productivity gains, and growth potential. - Lead continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma initiatives, reporting on cost savings and Sigma achievements. - Support warehouse and transportation planning and optimization initiatives. - Facilitate planning and problem-solving activities, including AQP sessions. - Ensure strategic business objectives and projects are scoped, analyzed, implemented, sustained, and measured. - Implement effective project management governance throughout the organization. - Assist Operations and Management in executing cost-saving initiatives.

Minimum Requirements - BEng Degree in Industrial Engineering or a Degree in Project Management (BENG/BSc). - Essential 8+ years of Project Management experience. - Essential 5+ years of Change Management experience and 5+ years of Business Analysis experience. - At least 5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management or related fields. - Experience in supply chain optimization, planning, and design. - Proven experience in developing Business Requirement Specifications (BRS). - Experience managing projects from start to finish. - Proficiency in project governance, budget management, timelines, and stakeholder engagement. - Strong experience collaborating across multiple departments and business functions. - 5+ years of leadership experience in a business or operations setting, including staff performance management and development. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure. - Valid unendorsed driver’s license and personal transportation. - Willingness and ability to travel within South Africa and cross-border countries, including Zambia, Botswana, and Namibia.

Technical Skills - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. - Microsoft Project. - Microsoft Visio. - Microsoft Access (advantageous). - SharePoint (advantageous). - Power Apps (advantageous). - SQL (advantageous). - Python (advantageous). - ERP Systems (advantageous). - WMS (2+ years operational experience). - TMS (advantageous). - Lean Six Sigma. - Business process analysis and mapping. - Project and change management. - Business Requirement Specifications. - Business analysis.
