CONCRETE STRUCTURES FOREMAN – Cape Town

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise concrete structures and reinforced concrete construction on siteManage construction teams, subcontractors and daily site activitiesCoordinate shuttering/formwork, reinforcement and concrete placementEnsure work is completed according to drawings, specifications and programmeMonitor quality, productivity and workmanshipCoordinate concrete pours and ensure correct preparation and sequencingLiaise with Site Management, Engineers and subcontractorsConduct daily inspections and maintain site recordsEnsure compliance with health, safety and quality requirementsAssist with planning, programming and resource allocationIdentify and resolve construction-related issues efficientlyREQUIREMENTS 5+ years’ experience as a Concrete Structures Foreman or similar roleStrong experience in reinforced concrete and structural constructionProven experience on medium to large building projectsGood understanding of construction drawings and structural detailsExperience managing teams and subcontractorsStrong knowledge of formwork, reinforcement and concrete worksAbility to work under pressure and meet project deadlinesGood communication and organisational skillsRelevant construction qualification or trade background will be advantageous
